The TLPOA board of directors is discussing an ethics policy for committee members and board members.

We have not read the proposed policy but understand adoption of an ethics policy is a normal practice for organizations in general.

We are also aware that other organizations have adopted ethics standards to protect board members, committee members and the general membership.

The newspaper article indicated that the board wasn’t in support of the ethics policy. Has that changed?

Not sure which way the majority was leaning, but there was certainly no unanimous agreement. I believe Mr Salone was against it for one. There may be others.

Suggest you read the article again…. Salone is opposed to the policy. Whitaker and the other directors agreed to discuss the proposed policy at the next work session.
