At this week’s TLPOA meeting directors voted on a three year contract for fireworks. The bid was awarded to Americanfireworks of Hudson, Ohio, for $13,500 per year. We heard that the company has been doing the Treasure Lake fireworks display for the past several years and they are very good.
We have been hearing some troubling stories about Monday’s meeting and the vote on Omni. It seems that some of the board of directors were unclear about the Omni contract and did not have all the information needed to make a decision. Some of the information was being emailed the day of the vote and there were addendums, etc. […]
At last night’s meeting, the board of directors voted 5-3 to give Omni a three year contract. Directors Mike Yoha, Joe Krill and Frank Calderone voted no. Directors David Distler, Carol Korthaus, Toni Moulthrop, Larry Salone and George Cobert voted yes.

We learned that a director asked about the new building at this week’s meeting and the general manager said she did not know where she was supposed to go from here. Director Joe Krill said he provided information on a builder who […]
There is a life guard shortage and it is affecting Treasure Lake. At a recent meeting, the general manager discussed posting signs at beaches and pools that say “swim at your own risk.” They will have people at these locations to check passes, however, they would not be life guards.

Unfortunately Ed Yahner from Advance Disposal was unable to attend the March worksession meeting Monday night. We are hoping that he can attend a meeting soon and answer property owner questions about garbage pickup and recycling.
The TLPOA has announced that Ed Yahner of Advanced Disposal will be at the Board of Directors Work Session meeting Monday, March 20. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the Lakeview Lodge. If you have questions regarding trash pickup or recycling you may want to attend this meeting.
Candidate packets are available for property owners who are interested in serving on the TLPOA board of directors. There are four seats available this year.
