At the November meeting, the TLPOA board of directors affirmed committee members: Cayman, John Rice; Finance, Tony Cavaiola and David Dister (board liason); and Nomination and Election, Larry Marteney (alternate member). They also accepted the resignation of James Sinclair from the Cayman Committee.
At a recent TLPOA meeting, directors voted to award Stallion Mechnical of Luthersburg the contract for the disposal of the Lakeview Lodge hot water tank and installation of storage tanks for $14,819. The old hot water tank was leaking and needed to be replaced.
We have learned that the TLPOA Board Of Directors recently received the legal opinion regarding the amenities. It appears that the board is going to release a sanitized version of the legal opinion and not the ‘actual’ legal opinion. What is the board trying to hide? Is it really necessary to keep the details from property owners?

The TLPOA has announced a tentative schedule for the schedule of fees and charges. The first hearing for proposed fees and charges is Dec. 5. The second hearing is Dec. 12. A special meeting will be held Dec. 15 to vote to approve the fees and charges.
Just a reminder that the Gold golf course is open for golfers who want to play as long as the weather cooperates. Forget it is November and enjoy the play. Speaking of weather, the forecast is calling for warmer temperatures later this week so grab your golf clubs and head to the Gold Golf Course.
We have learned that today is dumpster and electronic recycling day for Sandy Township. Township residents can drop off larger items that they do not want to set out for curbside pickup at the municipal building from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The dumpster day will be held the second Monday of each month.
