The TLPOA has announced that various roads throughout the community will be getting tarred and chipped this week. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution while traveling in these areas and be prepared for slight traffic delays.
The TLPOA board of directors meeting scheduled for this evening (Monday, Sept. 26) is cancelled out of respect for the passing of Tom Korthaus, husband of board member Carol Korthaus. The board meeting has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at the Lakeview Lodge.

Summer is winding down and fall is just around the corner. The TLPOA started the year with a budget of $550,000 for road work. We are wondering how the road maintenance is progressing. Will we be able to complete the additional road work before winter?
Sandy Township Cleanup Days will be held Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon at the township municipal building. The township will accept tires, with a limit of four per person, appliances (freon and nonfreon), furniture, sinks, ceramic toilets and any non-metal appliances. The township can no longer accept electronic items such as televisions and computers.
The TLPOA Board of Directors announced that they received a letter from Omni Management Services that Shirley Elmore submitted her resignation as Treasure Lake’s general manager. The announcement also states that while the search is underway for a permanent replacement Shirley will continue as general manager and that this action is effective immediately.
