New doors have been installed throughout the Lakeview Lodge. The new doors were not cheap but they do make the building look nicer. However, folks don’t eat at a restaurant because they have “nice doors.” There are still problems that exist. We have heard complaints from numerous people and we have also heard compliments! We understand […]

Our sources tell us that at the November TLPOA meeting, there was a problem with the heat in the large meeting room. They tell us it was like sitting in a meat locker — no heat. We also understand that there is a constant problem with the soundsystem (microphones). With the sound system in mind, it is interesting […]

We recently read about TLPOA Director Joe Krill in reports from TLPOA meetings. We are pleased to see Krill taking an active role in the TLPOA meetings. He brings ideas, questions and valid points for discussion. Today, as in the past, there are directors who never bring anything to the board table, never question finances or anything else for […]

At the worksession this week, the subject of a message board for the back gate was discussed. This installation has been discussed numerous times over the years and we believe this is a much needed item. Many property owners use the back gate and have no idea of what is going on in the community. The […]

It was a cold snowy day Saturday and the road crew was here paving and working on the roads. You don’t normally see crews paving and working in this type of weather. This type of work is done in the summer and fall months – but, not in Treasure Lake where nothing is normal! For one reason or […]

Winter is here and that brings cold, ice and snow. The roads in Treasure Lake can be slippery and dangerous at times. What looks like a wet road can be black ice. We urge all drivers to use caution during this time of year. With the many miles of roads it can take the maintenance department some […]

We noticed that someone was driving through the median strip between the incoming and outgoing lanes on Coral Reef Road. The incident occurred between Friday night and Saturday morning. This cuts up the grass in that area making it look terrible and is also dangerous. Anyone observing this type of activity should call security immediately.
