The TLPOA board of directors met with their legal counsel last week after the Monday board of directors regular meeting. We have not heard or read any announcement as a result of the meeting with counsel. Apparently nothing was decided on the borough issue. What is there to decide? This debacle has almost destroyed our […]
Treasurelaketalk.com wants to honor and say thank you to our area police and the members of the Pa. State Police who put their lives on the line for us every day. There is a belief that if a person just says something enough times, others will start to believe what’s being said. From the so called correction that was printed in The Courier Express on Wednesday (9/25), we think that this is exactly Bill Reznor’s plan. He’ll just repeat the story that he only signed the […]
Bill Reznor in a correction in Wednesday’s newspaper claims that his name and that of Richard Rehermann appeared on the Treasure Lake Borough Petition in the capacity of TLPOA board secretary and TLPOA board president. Reznor in fact is claiming they are not individual petitioners. All one needs to do is view the petition document filed […]
According to a newspaper article, the TLPOA board of directors met in an executive session after Monday night’s meeting to discuss the borough initiative. When the meeting ended they did not say if they intended to continue the borough fight or stop it now and call it quits. We understand that attorney Mike Yeager was at the meeting. […]

The Clearfield County Court ruled to dismiss Treasure Lake’s petition to become a borough on Thursday, Sept. 19. There has been no eblast or notice on the TLPOA website and nothing on the marquee. You see, according to the ad at the bottom of the front page, the Lakeview Lodge will be hosting […]
We couldn’t miss an opportunity to comment on a letter to the editor that was in the local newspaper this week. Jason Gray, a Treasure Lake resident was unhappy with the newspaper for the headline on a story, the lead paragraph of that story and the way the story was placed in the newspaper. The headline in Monday’s paper […]

We have learned that at the Sept. 16 worksession Director Wayne Marhelski attempted to amend the agenda to move the property owner comments to follow the business discussion. No one, not even Director Carol Korthaus would second his motion. Carol who stepped up to the plate and backed Wayne last month, was silent this month. So the board of […]
